Our equipment uses no major forms of automated technology, so everything you have here has that homebrew feel to it. Manual from grind to mash, boil and transfer we put our entire souls into everything we produce so that you can have a very comfortable and unique experience with us.
The Inn, a 28-room boutique, is an unrivaled destination in the region for those with discerning tastes and a sense of adventure. From fine dining at Hickory to elegantly appointed rooms and an infinity pool with breathtaking views of the vineyard, you’ll never want to leave.
Our thoughtfully crafted cedar yurts offer the same luxury amenities as the Inn but underneath a canopy of trees. Enjoy a Nespresso on the porch while observing our array of wildlife, or enjoy a glass of wine by the fire pit.

Abingdon Vineyards was founded in 2001 by retired engineers, Bob Carlson & Janet Nordin. In the summer of 2018, the Gardners moved from California to Virginia to build the legacy.Abingdon Vineyards is truly a community effort with a wonderful team & many volunteers that help tend to the land, grapes, wine & guests!
Located on North US-421, you can’t miss the liquor store as it definitely stands out – it’s housed in a big red building with a huge black bear statue out front to welcome customers!
