Nestled in the heart of Damascus, our inn is perfectly located for a ride or hike on the trails, a splash in the river, a weekend break or a leisurely mid-week holiday.
We are a small comfortable campground, located at the base of Iron Mountain, in the home town community of Mountain City, in beautiful North Eastern Tennessee. We are conveniently situated on a section of Hwy 421, known as part of the famous “Snake 421” Motorcycle and Sport Car Ride. Our beautiful parcel of land is private, with the back of the property bordering a flowing creek, providing a cool shady area to relax after your day’s activities.
We offer 11 full service camp sites with water, electricity, sewer, and WIFI. Stay at our new cozy cabin that has water, electricity, sewer, and WIFI. We can accommodate any type of camping from primitive tent camping to luxury campers and RV’s. All of our campers have use of our new clean bath house, a covered pavilion, our creek side deck, a large community fire pit and have use of our creek side common area.
We offer an amply stocked camp store for your basic camping needs, and are very close to many choices to shop for the products we do not offer. We are fortunate to be based in the great outdoor mega of Johnson County, Tennessee, which is rich with “Protected Natural Resources” that are waiting to be explored. Like Doe Mountain Recreation Area with over 8,000 acres of protected mountain terrain and Watauga Lake with most of its 110 miles of shoreline protected by National Forest. When you ride the “The Snake 421” Motorcycle and Sport Car Route, you travel through both Cherokee National Forest and Mount Rogers Recreation Area.
When you are in Eastern Tennessee, you are invited to camp with us and use our convenient cozy location as your base camp. Those who come as visitors usually leave as friends.

The Virginia Creeper Trail is a recreational trail (rails to trails) located in Southwest Virginia (SWVA). The Virginia Creeper stretches 34 miles from Abingdon, Virginia down through to the lovely town of Damascus, Va (known as the Heart of the Va Creeper) along the Whitetop Laurel River and up to its highest point Whitetop Station near the NC State Line at Whitetop, Virginia. The Va Creeper Trail is open year round for trail runs, hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. This former rail bed passes through the Mount Rogers National Recreation area and the highland country of southwest Virginia. The Virginia Creeper Trail is rich in beauty and regional history. This is an easy biking adventure that you, your friends, and family will talk about for a long time. Start at one of the Creeper Trails bike shops in Damascus for a bike rental and shuttle services to the top and take a leisurely ride downhill 17 miles to town. On this section of the trail (Whitetop to Damascus) you will ride your rental bike from Whitetop Station down to historic Green Cove Station. Then travel through the Jefferson National Forest to the community of Taylors Valley along the Laurel River (watch out for the trout in the stream) back to Damascus. Then grab a bite at one of our tasty local restaurants, pick up a few t-shirts and souvenirs, and spend the night in one of our towns comfy beds. You will love it here!
Nestled on South Holston Lake, in the hills of east Tennessee, Lake View Dock is flanked between the TVA Property of South Holston Dam and the Cherokee National Forest. The views and surrounding lake-front are spectacular. Our fine floating facility includes a General Store complete with Lookout providing beautiful views of South Holston Lake. Our Lookout provides a great gathering place for customers. The Lake View Dock General Store provides a full line of fishing, camping, and boating equipment and supplies.
Gas, ice and a wide range of food are available in our store. The Wheelhouse Restaurant is a casual walk up restaurant specializing in made to order breakfast, custom made pizzas, hoagies, and salads with fresh summer ingredients. Serving a variety of cold draft beer and fresh brewed iced teas.
A full service dock, restaurant, and marina, we specialize in providing all your boating needs with a friendly, family atmosphere. Lake View dock can maintain your boat in open or covered slips on a twelve-month contract basis. We provide individualized service to our family of customers.

Our equipment uses no major forms of automated technology, so everything you have here has that homebrew feel to it. Manual from grind to mash, boil and transfer we put our entire souls into everything we produce so that you can have a very comfortable and unique experience with us.

All our cabins come with a fully stocked kitchen. Microwave, toaster, oven, french press, and drip coffee pot with filters. You will find glasses, silverware, plates, mugs, pots and pans and all the basic supplies you will need to conduct basic cooking or food preparation in your cabin.
Bed linens, bath and kitchen towels are provided.
All of the cabins have a full bathroom.
Lady Di’s B&B was founded in May 2021 because Lady Di (nobo class of 2019) fell in love with Damascus while hiking through.
