He then drove large trucks for 2 1/2 years, he also worked in maintenance for Sea Ray Boats for 12 -1/2 years.  SeaRay the company he was employed with announced in June 2018 that the Merritt Island Yacht plant would be shutting down. His job officially ended on October 31st, 2018.
We have 3 beautiful girls who are all grown up and on their own, after much thought about our future since we were finally empty nesters we decided to sell our home in Cocoa Fl.We listed 10/31/18 and 2 days later we had a contract. We literally had 26 days to completely move out.
In early June 2018 we had visited a campground in east Tennessee and really liked what we saw.  Travis and I have been wanting to be self-employed for a long time, between June and November 2018 we decided to take a chance on an opportunity for which we had been looking for over a decade; owning a campground.  so long story short we are now the proud owners of Black Bear Resort in Hampton Tennessee.
