Hicks White Top Campground is just across Highway 394 from Bristol Speedway and the perfect place to stay for NASCAR fans attending the races. A free shuttle bus to the speedway stops near the campground entrance.
We offer A Quiet area upon request and regular camping areas. We offer camping with and without hook-ups in most all of our sections, including some sites with full hook-ups. We have ice vending and a deli open for breakfast, lunch, and Dinner on site. We offer a year-to-year renewal service that’s ideal for season ticket holders and saves you money!
You will be staying in a spacious 300 sq ft room. Chattahoochee Forest-50 Miles-Best Ride in Georgia

The Virginia Creeper Trail is a recreational trail (rails to trails) located in Southwest Virginia (SWVA). The Virginia Creeper stretches 34 miles from Abingdon, Virginia down through to the lovely town of Damascus, Va (known as the Heart of the Va Creeper) along the Whitetop Laurel River and up to its highest point Whitetop Station near the NC State Line at Whitetop, Virginia. The Va Creeper Trail is open year round for trail runs, hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. This former rail bed passes through the Mount Rogers National Recreation area and the highland country of southwest Virginia. The Virginia Creeper Trail is rich in beauty and regional history. This is an easy biking adventure that you, your friends, and family will talk about for a long time. Start at one of the Creeper Trails bike shops in Damascus for a bike rental and shuttle services to the top and take a leisurely ride downhill 17 miles to town. On this section of the trail (Whitetop to Damascus) you will ride your rental bike from Whitetop Station down to historic Green Cove Station. Then travel through the Jefferson National Forest to the community of Taylors Valley along the Laurel River (watch out for the trout in the stream) back to Damascus. Then grab a bite at one of our tasty local restaurants, pick up a few t-shirts and souvenirs, and spend the night in one of our towns comfy beds. You will love it here!

Pisgah National Forest-81 Miles in NC-8 Waterfalls
The Copperhead motorcycle ride is a thrilling and scenic route that takes riders through the beautiful landscapes of North Carolina. This ride is known for its winding roads, breathtaking views, and challenging terrain. The ride start in the North Carolina Town of Brevard, southwest of Asheville, and continues in the Pisgah Forest on Route 276 NC. The first waterfall you must stop at the famous Looking Glass Falls. After taking some photos you will know what this ride is about. Water and the twist and turns like a Copperhead Snake.
Riders can expect to navigate tight curves and steep inclines as they make their way through the picturesque mountains and forests of Woodrow NC down Route 215 NC towards Rosman. 130 curves-22 Miles-Largest Dam East of the Rockies
TheHellbender28.com motorcycle road is located in North Carolina and is a 22-mile ride between Johnson Gap in Stecoah, NC traveling to Deals Gap at the beginning of the Dragon. From Johnson Gap, The Hellbender starts its way through the beautiful smoky mountains with challenging turns for cars and motorcyclists. On the way you will pass by several unique locations such as Fontana Lake where there are pull-offs to take a photo of the views. Then continuing on you will cross the top of the Fontana Dam, and Fontana Lake. This dam was created as a hydro electrical power facility for World War II by the Tennessee Valley Authority in 1942. The dam is 480 feet high and 2,365 feet across the Little Tennessee River and is the highest dam east of the Rocky Mountains. The 2000 plus famous hiking trail, the Appalachian Trail also crosses the top of Fontana Dam. After passing Fontana Village, a peaceful lake resort you end up at the end of this 22-mile run which dead ends in to highway US129 the beginning of Dragon.
