We are a small comfortable campground, located at the base of Iron Mountain, in the home town community of Mountain City, in beautiful North Eastern Tennessee. We are conveniently situated on a section of Hwy 421, known as part of the famous “Snake 421” Motorcycle and Sport Car Ride. Our beautiful parcel of land is private, with the back of the property bordering a flowing creek, providing a cool shady area to relax after your day’s activities.
We offer 11 full service camp sites with water, electricity, sewer, and WIFI. Stay at our new cozy cabin that has water, electricity, sewer, and WIFI. We can accommodate any type of camping from primitive tent camping to luxury campers and RV’s. All of our campers have use of our new clean bath house, a covered pavilion, our creek side deck, a large community fire pit and have use of our creek side common area.

We are fortunate to be based in the great outdoor mega of Johnson County, Tennessee, which is rich with “Protected Natural Resources” that are waiting to be explored. Like Doe Mountain Recreation Area with over 8,000 acres of protected mountain terrain and Watauga Lake with most of its 110 miles of shoreline protected by National Forest. When you ride the “The Snake 421” Motorcycle and Sport Car Route, you travel through both Cherokee National Forest and Mount Rogers Recreation Area.

Tri Mountain View Campground is located in the Northeast corner of Tennessee in the town of Shady Valley. With an elevation of 2,800 feet, Shady Valley is the second highest town in Tennessee. It is just 26 miles from the Bristol Raceway and the Bristol Caverns. It is just a 15 minute drive to Backbone rock and a short drive to the Appalachian Trail. The property was a Dairy Farm and went out of business in the late 90’s and since then there has been over 3,000 trees planted. Some of these trees include the rare Butternut and Hazelnut, but mostly White Pine, Walnut and Oaks. The property has approximately 1,000 feet of fishing on Beaver dam creek, so we recommend bringing waders. There is also a shower house, washer and dryer.

All our cabins come with a fully stocked kitchen. Microwave, toaster, oven, french press, and drip coffee pot with filters. You will find glasses, silverware, plates, mugs, pots and pans and all the basic supplies you will need to conduct basic cooking or food preparation in your cabin.
Bed linens, bath and kitchen towels are provided.

Walhalla SC – Highlands NC – 30 Miles-3 States
The ThreeState28.com motorcycle ride Start in Walhalla, SC and head north on route 28 for 32 miles. Cross the SC/GA border, stay on route 28, cross the GA/NC border, and head into Highlands, NC. Blacktop S turns, sweepers and hairpins wind up and down the hills with glimpses of the mountains and the valleys throughout the ride along with twisties and elevation changes. This ride runs through the Sumter and Nantahala national forests with mountains, rivers and waterfalls and crossing through three states. Not a lot between Walhalla and Highlands, so, fill up before you leave Walhalla. No restaurants or other facilities for miles.
There are three rides on highway 28, the first section riding from South to North is the ThreeState28.com. The Foothills Parkway 339 motorcycle ride is a thrilling journey through the picturesque foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. Riders can expect sweeping curves, breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, a perfect balance of challenging twists and turns, combined with serene natural beauty. The finished highways of the Foothills Parkway are divided into four parts. Each part that is completed is some of the most beautiful landscapes in all four seasons and worth the effort in making it a worthwhile ride. The Western Segment is 33 miles at the southern portion of the parkway from US129 in Chilhowee TN to US 321 in Wears Valley TN. This section can be easily accessed after taking the US129DragonsTail.com or “Tail of the Dragon” motorcycle ride. The Eastern Segment is 5.6 miles at the most northern portion and can be accessed from Interstate I-40 from Hartford TN traveling towards Cosby TN. The third segment completed they call the “Foothills Parkway Spur” which is 4.3 miles long and starts in Gatlinburg and ends in Pigeon Forge. The remainder, “Missing Link” section is still being constructed. The Foothills Parkway 339 motorcycle ride promises an unforgettable experience for all who embark on it. Experienced motorcycle riders will find the road challenging due to the elevation changes but suggest that new riders to the area and the ride take it slower to enjoy the spectacular mountain roller coaster of scenery.

Nevertheless, it is well worth the time it may take to get there. It is a great ride.
