We are a small comfortable campground, located at the base of Iron Mountain, in the home town community of Mountain City, in beautiful North Eastern Tennessee. Our beautiful parcel of land is private, with the back of the property bordering a flowing creek, providing a cool shady area to relax after your day’s activities.
We offer 11 full service camp sites with water, electricity, sewer, and WIFI. Stay at our new cozy cabin that has water, electricity, sewer, and WIFI. We can accommodate any type of camping from primitive tent camping to luxury campers and RV’s. All of our campers have use of our new clean bath house, a covered pavilion, our creek side deck, a large community fire pit and have use of our creek side common area.
We offer an amply stocked camp store for your basic camping needs, and are very close to many choices to shop for the products we do not offer. We are fortunate to be based in the great outdoor mega of Johnson County, Tennessee, which is rich with “Protected Natural Resources” that are waiting to be explored. Like Doe Mountain Recreation Area with over 8,000 acres of protected mountain terrain and Watauga Lake with most of its 110 miles of shoreline protected by National Forest. When you ride the “The Snake 421” Motorcycle and Sport Car Route, you travel through both Cherokee National Forest and Mount Rogers Recreation Area.

Tri Mountain View Campground is located in the Northeast corner of Tennessee in the town of Shady Valley. With an elevation of 2,800 feet, Shady Valley is the second highest town in Tennessee. It is just 26 miles from the Bristol Raceway and the Bristol Caverns. It is just a 15 minute drive to Backbone rock and a short drive to the Appalachian Trail. The property was a Dairy Farm and went out of business in the late 90’s and since then there has been over 3,000 trees planted. Some of these trees include the rare Butternut and Hazelnut, but mostly White Pine, Walnut and Oaks. The property has approximately 1,000 feet of fishing on Beaver dam creek, so we recommend bringing waders. There is also a shower house, washer and dryer.

Seasoned Motorcycle riders will find the road challenging due to the elevation changes. Take this ride a bit slower to enjoy the spectacular scenery. TheGeorgiaDragon.com motorcycle ride starts in the town of Dahlonega (First major US town gold rush back in 1828) and runs north on Route 60, then merging with US-19 and then turn right on to Route 180 called Wolfpen Gap Road steep elevation changes and switchbacks. The ride continues through the mountains to US Highway 129/19. Then make a right and head south back to Dahlonega to complete the Georgia Dragon!

Two National Forests-114 Miles-1 Grisly Murder
The Murder Mountain Run motorcycle ride is an exhilarating and thrilling adventure that takes riders through the picturesque yet mysterious landscapes of North Carolina. This ride combines the adrenaline rush of motorcycle riding with the intrigue of exploring the infamous Murder of Charlie Silvers took place in 1830. The Lodge sits nestled in the trees and perched above the famed, trout filled tailwater of the South Holston River in Bristol, Tennessee. This Blue Ribbon 15 mile tailrace hosts 7,000 to 10,000 trout per mile and is best known for its huge population of wild brown trout, consistent hatches and year round fly-fishing opportunities.
