We are a small comfortable campground, located at the base of Iron Mountain, in the home town community of Mountain City, in beautiful North Eastern Tennessee. Constructed on a hill on a family farm by a former resident, the campground offers quiet 300 degree views of the surrounding mountains. Built on a third Generation Dairy Farm after the sale of all the Cattle in late 90s, we’ve planted over three thousand trees on property mostly Walnuts,Oaks and Apples with a few rarely seen White Walnut(Butternut) and American Filbert(Hazelnut) Campers can harvest all they want in October.
Tri Mountain View Campground is located in the Northeast corner of Tennessee in the town of Shady Valley. With an elevation of 2,800 feet, Shady Valley is the second highest town in Tennessee. It is just 26 miles from the Bristol Raceway and the Bristol Caverns. It is just a 15 minute drive to Backbone rock and a short drive to the Appalachian Trail. The property was a Dairy Farm and went out of business in the late 90’s and since then there has been over 3,000 trees planted. Some of these trees include the rare Butternut and Hazelnut, but mostly White Pine, Walnut and Oaks. The property has approximately 1,000 feet of fishing on Beaver dam creek, so we recommend bringing waders. There is also a shower house, washer and dryer.

Our facilities are suitable for individuals, families, church and corporate groups, community teams and clubs. They are available for both day use and overnight. The location is unique and beautifuly situated in the mountains, an hour from Asheville, NC where the Smokies and the Blue Ridge intersect.
You will be staying in a spacious 300 sq ft room. A kitchenette for light cooking to save on meals, couch to relax and watch tv, Wi-Fi, patio with grill, wood fireplace inside, fire pit outside, large bathroom with walk in shower, a desk for any work you may need to do. Lots to do in Damascus and the surrounding area if you are an outdoors person. Bring your fly rod and fish in the river across the road, biking trails, hiking trail, motorcycling routes. The Barter Theatre is nearby in Abingdon if you want to catch a show.
