101 Country Music Wy, Bristol, VA 24201, USA

The Birthplace of Country Music Museum explores how evolving sound technology shaped the success of the 1927 Bristol Sessions and highlights how this rich musical heritage still thrives in the Appalachian region and beyond. Through multiple theater experiences, interactive and stationary displays – along with a variety of educational programs, music performances, and community events – the exciting story of these recording sessions and their far-reaching influence comes alive. Rotating exhibitions from guest curators and other institutions, including the Smithsonian, are featured throughout the year in the Special Exhibits Gallery. The museum also houses a collection of related objects, photographs, ephemera, and a digital archive. An affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, our museum tells the story of the 1927 Bristol Sessions, the influential recordings that sparked the “big bang of country music,” and continue to inspire the music of today.

The annual music Festival began in 2001 and has been a part of BCM since December, 2012. A 2015 Economic Impact Study showed that visitors to the Festival from outside the region had a $16.1 million impact on the region. The Festival generally hosts over 130 bands on 20 stages in downtown Bristol during the third weekend in September. Attendance has grown to approximately 45,000. Among its many accolades the Festival has been named as one of Rolling Stone’s “Top 20 Tours and Festivals”, and has won a Grand Pinnacle Award from the International Festival and Events Association.

Join us on state street in downtown Bristol for an incredible lineup of artists performing country, bluegrass, Americana, folk, rock and more! Reunite with friends while celebrating the rhythm of new genres along with the roots of traditional Appalachian music. Weekend passes to Bristol and Roots Reunion make great gifts for the holidays.

The Birthplace of Country Music is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that seeks to perpetuate, promote, and celebrate Bristol’s rich musical heritage; to educate and engage audiences worldwide regarding the history, impact and legacy of the 1927 Bristol Sessions from which we derive our name; and to create recognition, opportunities, and economic benefit for our local and regional communities. BCM accomplishes this mission through its three primary branches (Museum, Festival, and Radio), special projects and events, and a multitude of community and educational outreach programs. A brief description of the three primary entities follows:

Standing Up for Tennessee Bikers

Once you really get to know Tennessee, it sort of seems like it was touched by the motorcycle gods. This state has everything bikers could want: Twisty mountain roads, pastoral valley rides, epic views, scary drop-offs and even caves!Whether you’re riding in the Great Smoky Mountains, or around the stunning lands outside of Nashville, or up around Johnson City, the Volunteer State welcomes riders with open arms. Even better, the Tennessee motorcycle community is historic, rich and welcoming. You’ll find kindred spirits at every stop along any motorcycle route you take.

Unfortunately, just like every other state in the country, Tennessee motorcycle riders also face discrimination in the legal system and the courts.

If you or a loved one has been in a Tennessee motorcycle crash, you are likely facing not only medical hardship, but the legal system is also throwing barriers in front of you, making it hard to get the justice you’re due.

Rider Justice is here to help Tennessee motorcycle riders who are injured in a motorcycle crash.

When you love motorcycle riders and you know Tennessee motorcycle laws like we do, it is a wicked-powerful combination.

Oh, and did we mention that we fight for what’s best for you and your family? Too many Tennessee personal injury attorneys are looking for a quick settlement. We’re looking for justice. We’re sort of crazy about justice. Motorcycle riders face too much discrimination from cops, auto drivers, insurance companies and the courts. But none of that intimidates us. We have faced and beaten them all. Over and over.

If you’ve been injured in a Tennessee motorcycle crash, call the Tennessee motorcycle lawyers who love bikers, and know the laws, and fight like demons in the courts.

Rider Justice was founded by Scott O’Sullivan, a personal injury attorney who cares deeply about motorcycle riders and the motorcycle community. From his very first motorcycle crash case in 1998, Scott discovered that this was his vocation – his calling in life: to serve the motorcycle community and injured riders. This community is often stereotyped by the legal system and, therefore, Tennessee motorcycle riders must fight twice as hard for justice and compensation after a motorcycle crash.

If you have been injured in a Tennessee motorcycle accident, the Rider Justice team will fight like hell to get the money you are owed so that you can heal and move forward.

Scott O’Sullivan is founder of Rider Justice and he has been supporting the biker community for over 20 years, including helping injured riders, non-profit board leadership, motorcycle event sponsorships and free legal advice to BikerDown.
