We have 3 beautiful girls who are all grown up and on their own, after much thought about our future since we were finally empty nesters we decided to sell our home in Cocoa Fl.We listed 10/31/18 and 2 days later we had a contract. We literally had 26 days to completely move out.
In early June 2018 we had visited a campground in east Tennessee and really liked what we saw.  Travis and I have been wanting to be self-employed for a long time, between June and November 2018 we decided to take a chance on an opportunity for which we had been looking for over a decade; owning a campground.  so long story short we are now the proud owners of Black Bear Resort in Hampton Tennessee.
Here is the website http://www.blackbearresorttn.com and please check out our Facebook page. We look forward to seeing our friends and  family, and the many new friends we are making along the way enjoy our rustic cabins, camping, RV parking, family get-togethers, reunions, weddings, conferences, and many hiking trails.
We are a short walking distance from the Appalachian Trail. We are so excited and blessed. God has been with us throughout this entire transition and put everything in place for us. It has been an amazing journey. We feel this is where we are meant to be and consider this our forever home.
